Founder & CEO
Mendel brings over 15 years of firsthand exposure to the food industry, having grown up alongside his father, a veteran of more than four decades in the field. Through this experience, Mendel has been immersed in every side of the industry, from food manufacturers and producers to buyers, chefs, large-scale kitchens, and foodservice operations.
His experience across the U.S. and Canada, combined with a background in international commerce and shipping, has given him a broad understanding of the relationships and logistics that drive the food business. Today, Mendel brings that experience and network to YH Brokers, connecting the right manufacturers with the right buyers and creating opportunities for long-term growth.
